Blue Valley Behavioral Health is a
private nonprofit organization that provides outpatient
behavioral health services in 15 rural counties in Southeast
Nebraska.

How do you obtain services? By phone, referral or
by personal contact with the office nearest you. Our
screening and intake process will assure you are directed to
the appropriate program and level of care. |

What type of counseling is provided? BVBH provides
long and short term treatment for a variety of mental health
and substance abuse needs for adults and children. Some common mental health issues
that are addressed include: depression, anxiety disorders,
domestic violence, anger control, relationship problems,
youth behavioral problems and
parenting training. Some common substance abuse issues that
are addressed include: alcohol, marijuana and
methamphetamine abuse, ACOA/COA awareness, education groups,
gambling and other addiction problems. |

What will the service cost?
Private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare or other third party
payers cover many services. A sliding scale fee is available to
individuals meeting guidelines according to state and federal
standards, as allowable by law. Blue Valley Behavioral Health is
funded in part through Region V Systems and the Nebraska
Department of Health and Human Services Systems.
Who provides the service?
The BVBH staff includes Psychiatrists (MD), Psychiatric
Nurse Practitioner (APRN), Licensed Psychologists (Ph.D., Psy.D.),
Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Practitioners
(LMHP), Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP),
Substance Abuse Counselors (LADC), Case Managers, and Support
Staff.
