Who is Blue Valley Mental Health Center?
Blue Valley Mental Health Center is a private nonprofit
organization that provides outpatient behavioral health
services in 15 rural counties in Southeast Nebraska.
Our Mission
Blue Valley Mental Health Center exists to provide
quality professional outpatient behavioral healthcare to our
rural service area in cooperation with other providers.
How do you obtain
services?
By phone, referral or by personal contact with the
office nearest you. Our screening and intake process will
assure you are directed to the appropriate program and level
of care.
What type of counseling is provided?
We provide long and short term treatment for a variety of
mental health and substance abuse needs. Some common mental
health issues that are addressed include: depression,
anxiety disorders, domestic violence, anger control,
relationship problems and parenting training. Some common
substance abuse issues that are addressed include: alcohol,
marijuana and methamphetamine abuse, ACOA/COA awareness,
education groups, gambling and other addiction problems.
What will the service cost?
Private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare or other third party
payers cover many services. A sliding scale fee is available
to individuals meeting guidelines according to state and
federal standards, as allowable by law. Blue Valley Mental
Health Cent is funded in part through Region V Systems and
the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services
Systems.
Who provides the service?
Center staff includes Psychiatrists (M.D.), Psychiatric
Nurse Practitioner (A.P.R.N.), Licensed Psychologists
(Ph.D., Psy.D.), Social Workers (L.C.S.W.), Licensed Mental
Health Practitioners (L.M.H.P.), Substance Abuse Counselors
(L.A.D.C.), Case Managers, and Support Staff.
