Specialties:
Adult substance abuse evaluations, treatment, and Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP)
Approach:
While in sessions with clients, I like to reflect on past thought processes and situations that led to certain actions. Using CBT, the client is then able to see what the outcome could have been if they had challenged their thought process. This can help a client make different choices in the future.
I also like to provide education on the effects alcohol and drugs can have on a person and their lives.
All Substance Abuse Staff provide outpatient treatment covering a wide variety of substance use issues through Individual and Family counseling along with Substance Abuse Evaluations
(adults and youth).
